Spam filters are weak

Why do so many spam calls still come through? And half of them are from Google services!! Come on, people... Im on the National Do Not Call list. Its illegal to spam call me.

Also, Messages that I have read dont Mark as read – sometimes I need to open and close the app and click on the message a few times before it marks it as red. This is annoying.
