Worse after last update.

I can get over not being able to send pics before this last update. But it takes so long for the messages to show in the feed (I get the notification that a new message has come through) but then I spend 2-5 minutes trying to see it in the feed (which makes it hard to talk to clients). I have to refresh so much that I find it faster to forward my messages. (Oh and I turned that feature off last week and its still forwarding to the phones text messages.) :/ how do I get it to stop?
