Slow and not responsive

The app offers all functionality: text, voice call, voice mail, etc. but the interface is very slow in response. The keypad is very slow and failing numbers is a three step process. Somewhat frustrating to use the app.
The only I keep on using it is because it offerS US/Canada calls.
