App is not a Google standard

While using this app, one will wonder is this something Google developed. I mainly use for cheap rates to make India call but I have to tolerate-
1. Recorded message on price I have to hear each time I have to make same destination call.
2. Accessing phone book is so pathetic with such a small window of contacts first appear and difficult in maximizing it.

Vonage had a nice mobile app but cost is high and google has bad app for cheap price - may have to live with this trade off.
