Crashes and security issues

I really want to love this app, I have to use it daily. However it seems that despite all their updating (finally) the app is still clunky and full of bugs. The app constantly cashes when Im coming back to it and it always hangs up when refreshing the conversations list. To top it all off there is NO option to turn off message preview meaning I cant get notifications if I want to be secure...unacceptable these days when everyone (including Google!) wants you to use things like two factor authentication.

Awful.
