Functionality is low

The way the app functions is better than the old long standing one, but this new one is "buggy", at least it is n iOS. I delete calls that stay in the log & the multiple selection tool doesnt work (i.e. if I want to select ten calls to remove the log, cant select more than one. Whats the point, thats how it used to be, where I would have to delete each entry/call one-by-one). There are other similar things that affect this app. I dont understand how this app is so far behind in functionality as a google/alphabet product, they must be focusing on AI to much.
