*NEW BUG* for iOS 8

This app crashes way too much. As Im typing my text it keeps crashing once the person Im texting sends me a text back and my screen immediately goes back to the dashboard screen and I lose the text that I was typing when I go back to the app.

Im on a iOS 8.4 with iPhone 6+.

Also why does iOS 8 users dont get a new UI and only iOS users that are 9+ get the new iOS look and feel?
