Half of my calls never ring the phone

I have been using Voice for 3 years. I’ve ignored this at times because the text messaging is great and constantly improved, so I assumed that calls would be at some point too.

I very often am sitting right next to my phone and get an email saying I have a voice mail and a missed call. The phone never rang. I was available to pick it up if it had rung. When I need to schedule stuff with people who have lots of meetings and calls I can’t afford to play voice message pong.

Google voice allows me to give out a consistent number that I can use across devices and as I change SIM cards in foreign countries, so I hope to continue using it. But, if I can’t even accept incoming calls I can’t continue trusting this service.
