WORRIED THIS IS ABOUT TO BE DISCONTINUED

This is perhaps my most used app.
Arrgh!! More recently the app frequently crashes as Im entering a text message! ? both on the phone I have running iOS 10 and the one running iOS 11.

Arrgh!! Recently the app frequently requires I reconfigure it when I launch it. Update: I think they fixed that in around January 2018.

Why cant I set a default phone like I can when using the web-based app?
... call with Hangouts. Makes hard to use iPad as a phone! :-(

See this note on the google play store app, re. Talkatone. Is this going to impact this Google Voice app too? Im WORRIED.
