Read the others...constantly crashing every 10-30 seconds

I feel like there should be an easy way to change your google voice number on the app.

I hate it I can’t get it to work

Used to be a good app. But now one can no longer send a GV text from the app and everyone knows They dont want to hear from us.

-Two stars because a phone and text app should integrate in a car interface such as CarPlay.

Great for business or personal use. Simple UI and good quality. Thanks for updating the screen for iPhone X users!

Not sure what is going on at Google but this app has gotten worse with each update. App constantly crashes, especially when trying to text. Can’t send messages to people by their phone number unless they are in the apps contact list (which you can’t do on an iPhone). Voicemails don’t always play back through the app. I know it’s a free app but come on Google. Please hire some better developers and fix it.

For months the app is crashing while writing messages. I went online and I see that other people are experiencing the same issue since 2016!!! This is NOT acceptable! Fix it

It would be nice if the app actually worked or at least there were instructions on how to use it. All I got was, it accessed my phone book. I allowed that. But when I went to use the app, i.e. make a phone call. It told me that I had to click on something. But there was nothing on which to click. Then, it came up with two notifications, which I was unable to see or delete. After fussing with it awhile, and then looking for some sort of direction, I gave up and deleted it. App writers need to look at things from the view of the user! Maybe they would learn something.

Some great updates recently. Please add the capability to listen to voice recordings that are being text.

I’m unable to select multiple messages to delete. After selecting one call to delete you’re unable to select others to delete as a batch.

Pro tip: Turn off contact sync to prevent crashing.

Beginning sometime in the fall 2017 the app became unstable. I rarely am able to finish a text message without it crashing. It is nearly useless unless I employ a workaround like writing my message elsewhere and then cut and paste it into the app. Either way, it is frustrating to the point I have considered walking away from Google Voice entirely. Google Voice has gone through numerous updates since this problem first appeared. Each time I am hopeful the problem is being addressed but it never is.

Prior to the current update, this was a fine app. Now it crashes every thirty seconds. Literally.

I use this app for business for over 7 years. Since the app was updated in September, the app crashes within 30 seconds of openings it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP UNTIL THIS ISSUE IS FIXED. You will never be able to finish a text or hear more than 30 seconds of any voicemail. Currently searching for an alternative. LINE 2 app seems like a good fit. I used google voice daily now it’s useless. Google employees must not be using this app since it’s been months with this extremely irritating issue. You would think they would have addressed this issues within the past 7 updates and bug fixes that came out in the past few months. Says a lot about their customer loyalty.

I have always enjoyed the ease and simplicity of this app. The new updates have complicated the use of the app. It no longer recognizes the existing number and the existing credit and asks to choose a new one. Therefore the ease and convenience are no longer features one can depend on.

I use Google Voice for business. On weekends I try to switch the calls from my assistance line to my own line, but it keeps automatically switching back to her. This is a huge problem, you need to fix this.

Used to use this a while back and had to reinstall in order to get a verification code for a site. When I try using the slider button to login into my account, it just glitches out and does nothing. So I’m now unable to login because the UI on this app is completely broken. Would give 0 stars if I could.
