The back/send tiles are gone, its near impossible to navigate menus now. The tile for options is now some unintelligle icon too. iOS 7 and 8.

The main menu (three horizontal lines at the top left) to view the received/missed call logs separately and text messages is missing, if I select a phone number from the inbox I cant click on the button with the three dots that was located at the top right to call the number because that option is missing. I hope this is some glitch they overlooked but are aware of now. Please put these features back.

Cannot find my old texts. Button to go back and delete digits of a number youve entered on keypad doesnt have the correct symbol and looks like a smudge currently. I hit the text button and there is no way of going back so I have to close and reopen the app. Not very functional at all and not sure what bugs had to be fixed but I miss the old app!

Messaging (text & mms) needs to be completely redone- delayed messages & no mms support is unacceptable. App also needs: 1. Touch ID support 2. End-to-end encryption 3. Message delivery receipts 4. Message read receipts 5. Message recall 6. Message expiration 7. GIF support 8. Group messages 9. Polling features 10. Audio messages 11. Audio conferencing 12. Video messages 13. Video calls 14. Video conferencing 15. Ability to use this app over wifi & not be dependent on the cellular service; so subscribers can use this app when traveling to other countries & not incur roaming charges 16. Ability to call ALL Google voice & hangout subscribers via this app for FREE, irrespective of location/country.

I really love the google voice app with a few enhancements it would be perfect. Sometimes the visual voicemail is not as accurate as it should be which make you check and listen to the Message. I wish that Google would allow the ability to send & receive pictures. With these tweaks it would definitely be 5stars!

Since the latest update, the send button has disappear from the text screen, along with various other bugs. Once in a text message there is no longer a way to exit the text and go back without closing the app and restarting it.

Six years with google voice :)
