I need to get in contact with someone when I setup this I needed a 915 area code upon finish in the registration. It wanted to verify the number but it was using the incorrect area code. Please advise what to do?

This app is long in disrepair and neglect from Google. Hangouts does everything this app doesnt (sms, group messages, photos, etc) from your Google Voice number and with a much better UI and experience

Its not even close to being a phone app. You can do pretty much everything that you can do with a typical phone app but the user interface is just awful. To view recently placed calls or missed calls, is very very difficult and wierd. Make an overhaul of the app, not to do anything innovative, but just to make it look like a regular phone dialing app.

Are you looking at Whatsapp or Vonage extensions? They are now integrated. You heard of MMS?

They are shuttering 3rd party apps because they do a very good job, unlike this app.

iOS 10 says GV has used 30% of my battery in the past 8 hours. Neglected app. Lots of wasted space on screen. Interface looks like an app from the early 2000s.

Will be great to make and receive calls from the phone app.

Bare bones app since the start. Have to manually refresh to know if someone has texted, when I delete convos they reappear, and pictures not available unless I view them in a forwarded email? Thats not a bad Apple; thats a bad Google!

Designed for calls only and a great app. Using a g voice number that you select. Coolest and free second line!! The other reviewers dont get it, lol!

Please ADD FEATURE, Need to be able to block a number via Google Voice app! Add option to mark as Spam and block number.!

I love google voice. But PLEASE, we need quick reply already. And now we need ios10 Siri. Surprise us. Come on. Please. With a cherry on top.

Point blank period this app is outdated and is a dinosaur in comparison to newer apps that let you text, send photos, group chat, and search for previous messages!!

I was hoping for a better experience.

I cant even place a phone call with this app. There was a time when you could do everything even receive calls with the app, now it can barely hold a text conversation. :( Im assuming that this app was ruined on purpose (since a few years ago it worked better than a cell phone provider) as it creates competition with cell phone carriers.

I really dont understand why Google is so advanced everywhere else however I cannot sent photos through google voice!

I have been using GV since 2009. I love the service but would love to see an update to the iOS app. It is very rarely supported which leads me to believe Google wants to move away from it. I would gladly pay for a better supported app. I use this every day and love the service. It works well for my business. Please keep this app updated!

Free app free local number, free text, free calls, what more could you ask for? Gotta love Google.

I love the service! I just wish there was an option to have a pin access option for the iPhone app. It would be nice for extra security and to protect users information on the other end such as phone numbers, names, and conversations by having a pin access option on the app so that before being able to get right in, you would need a quick 4-6 digit pin.
