As I can remember, Google hasnt updated GV for a long time. However, after this latest update, the app was totally ruined by LOTs of severe BUGs & errors!!! Issues reported through feedback as soon as been found, YET still NO update released to fix them! Maybe Google had already give up this classic app... Its a pitty!

As others have written - barely useable because buttons are missing completely. No way to go back a screen. Only sends if I happen to push the right piece of blank space. How to I roll back to the previous version? If it makes a difference in your troubleshooting Im using an iphone5s with iOS 8.1. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. Thx.

Since the update I cant even open it. Update states " bug fixes " its instead made it worst. I dont know how many business calls I am missing . Its not good at all

The latest update broke the app - No navigation buttons, no buttons to send text messages...if you havent updated already, dont do it. The app is unusable.

The release said it fixed bugs, but seems to have added bugs. Doesnt work right for me now. Before this update, it was great.

Love this app, but the recent upgrade has caused significant impairments in functioning, including missing text response button, missing back button, and missing call reply button. Please restore asap. Thank you!

So I have been using the app for a while and its worked well. However in this last update, I’ve lost the send button, the back to inbox button, and the folder button. Its very inconvenient as I have to restart the app when switching conversations.

The latest version is almost useless! Features and buttons are missing.. Please put the old version back or fix this one.

Ever since the latest update, back button to get to the list of messages disappeared. I would have to shut down the app and then reopen it. Also send button disappeared. Very inconvenient and I will only re-download once all the bugs have been sorted out

Great product until a couple days ago when the update killed off almost all vital features (access to placed, missed, received calls, etc; ability to return call from the VM page, delete button the the dialed page; etc.) Now it is barely functional. I usually recommend this service & the app to people, but now it is hardly worth using. Not sure what happened but Please fix asap so that it can return to the awesome app it used to be!

First and foremost Google voice has been a blessing since I run a business from my Google voice phone. It allows me to screen callers and thats what I most like about the app. However since the app update Im not able to return texts and unable to return back to the anywhere I went when I click to view a text. I literally have to go outside crash the app and then go back in. Its very frustrating and is hurting my business because some clients of mine only text.

Force closes on, Mark as spam & Delete. Invisible "send" button. Invisible "..." button. Weird button icons. TERRIBLE update for iPhone 4 users!!

I have been using google voice for a few years and in the app everyday! Yesterday my app just stopped opening and says "waiting" I have tried to delete and it wont let me and it says updated Ugh!!

I have used Google Voice on an iPhone for years and it has always been a decent app - not great, but decent. The latest update from a few days ago has totally broken the app, making it all but inoperable on the iPhone. Based on all the comments, you wonder if Google even tested it before sending it out. Really horrible. Google, please fix it fast!!!

It wasnt broken before the update but is now. All useful functionality is gone! Back to the drawing board you tech developers!!!

This latest version really messes up everything, there is no send button when you want to reply a message, and there is no add to contact button as well. Please fix the bugs!

Google voice. I figured out what the issue is and its the kind of phone I have. I have a iPhone 4 with a 7.1.2 operating system. I downloaded the app on my iPod and it seems to have solved the issue with being able to text and app from crashing however the only problem is this only runs on wifi so if I were to be away of a wifi spot I would loose the capability to text again. So please make the app comparable for all phones and operating systems. Thank you. This iPod is a iPod 6 with a 9.3.1 operating system.

If people send MMS to you, you wont receive it in this app. If you set you google voice to receive on your email however, you email account will get the image. NO, you cannot send images out either. As of April, 2016. The send button is missing. So I cannot send txt at all!

Terrible update. I thought there was something wrong with my phone as I have been using this app for years, but after reading these reviews I see I am not the only one. Please please hurry and fix this latest version, as I use this to run my business

This app is ineffective. After the last update it made it worst. Cant see the back errors or text/inbox icons. It seems the more and more they update it, the worst it gets. Will have to find another solution now
