Ive been using it for years for work and totally does what a regular phone is supposed to do. You can even easily spam or block unwanted callers by just one click of a button. You can also change numbers whenever. Beats not using your personal number. I think its worth the download if you need a phone for professional/work purposes. And its free!

Great app, been using it for years and years now. Thanks for including MMS recently. Please please please add my Google Voice Address book in an organized manner, I have hundreds of contacts there that I saved over the years with no easy way to search it. Maybe can import to phone through app too??

The dial is not as responsive as it should be. Doesnt allow you to add "notes" to conversations

I upgraded after my 3 year old version started to crash. Mistake, the new version started crashing with in 10 minutes. The only plus is I can now receive MMS. Disappointed for sure.

Google voice has been a godsend for me! I teach and it is the perfect means for me to have contact with my parents without them having my actual phone number and email address.

Although Im happy iOS has google voice. Its crashes to the home screen almost every use. Reinstalling doesnt help. Also after sending a message will not show until I leave the thread and then go back to it. Some message will show a notification icon even after being checked. Or not get one when I have a message.

Just as in the tittle, cant live without it.

I still love this app and service. Its been crucial for my daily business. I enjoy the new app and find it stable and functional. Looking forward to further updates and improvement. it doesnt receive video!! the video doesnt forward to gmail like before. Ive been with Google voice so se it was grand central. There have always been kinks. In the middle of my call, if I miss another call it will play the voice mail message DURING my call and I have to hang up and recall. I dont like that I can choose where my call is calling from like we used to before

It is slow to switch between screens. It is slow to look up contacts when you try to make a call. It takes too many clicks to make a phone call, the functionality should be closer to the surface. The recent change to have a few regularly used Contacts has been good.

Im using google voice for the past 9 years and it has been one of the best tools Ive ever used. However some of the new features & options are not very user friendly & to me its a step back. Yet there are so many great features & capabilities that will justify. Please keep it up, FCS

YMMV but Ive experienced some lag issues as it updates with recent activity when switching between desktop and mobile. Ive also had bad connections recently where it sounds like the person Im speaking with is in witness protection. Usually resolved by hanging up and dialing again. Its a great app, and an easy way to keep both work and personal conversations on the same device.

Response time is slow, especially with calls and voicemails registering. I find myself having to refresh screens quite a bit.

Love the google voice

This app is a huge improvement over previous versions, but it still has major glitches. Inexplicably, I cant see SMS messages dated before this past January (but they are visible in Hangout). Id rather just use one app instead of having to rely on both Voice & Hangouts, but all of the features & functions in having a Google phone number cant be achieved in one app.

Easy to use and does everything you need it to do.
