Keeps crashing. Constantly. Messages are constantly out of order. Totally lacks any refinement.

Sometimes a call freezes and fails, especially if you open apple music at the same time. When this happens your whole phone becomes unusable for about 10 minutes while it tries to run a job and gets stuck in a runtime error.

This is a great app to communicate. Love everything about it

I have been using google voice for close to five years now. It is perfect with a supplemental phone that has 3G/4G service. You can forward your calls and texts to transcribe your voicemails as well. Very good! I give it five stars.

Notifications are off. Still shows a notification count after viewing a message and even after sending a message. Message loading is delayed. Design isnt the best and fairly simple which isnt always bad. Please allow multiple chats to be deleted permanently at once instead of having to do them individually

Ive been using Google Voice for some time now. I Luv it. My only complaint is; it seems like Google is down playing it. Its not easy to locate. Im concerned they may eventually phase it out.

Slow and awkward. Main problem for me now is the absence of "favorites contacts" which used to be there. Now you give us "suggested" contacts PLEASE GIVE US BACK THE ABILITY TO CHOOSE FAVORITES FOR QUICK CALLING. We can decide better than google who we want to call

For some reason I havent been receiving calls for 3weeks now and I have completed all trouble shooting suggestions.

I use google voice for work and I use text to communicate with customers but unfortunately after a number of texts (average after 10-15 texts) it stop sending them giving me the message "message failed to send" is anyone expiring the same??? I reported this via customer support of google voice 3 times and never received a reply. Horrible customer service!!

Been using GV since the days of invite system. Love that the app continues to get better. Still has some ways to go.

Have been using Google Voice almost since it was released, and have ridden through the ups and downs. The v2 interface looks good, photo integration is great(!), conversation view is wonderful, and the same old integration with Contacts and the Phone apps is awesome. The August 2017 version (2.6) has improved the lag significantly, but still pauses sometimes. The June 2017 version of Google Voice did not function smoothly at all on my iPhone 5s. Every action, from scrolling to creating a new message to searching, took a moment or two to get a response, if the action even registered at all. Not a pleasant or efficient experience. Long press functions are back in v2.6, after a brief hiatus! SMS conversations can be archived, individual messages can be deleted, and both voice messages and call histories can be multi-selected for faster management. All this is faster and more intuitive than the past few versions. Thanks! Ill finish by saying that the ability to switch between multiple GVoice accounts (as in Hangouts) is also really great!!! I previously had to use different apps for different numbers, but now they are better consolidated here. ??

The current version just keeps on crashing major disappointment

The call features are excellent, but dont expect to use text messaging for business. If someone attaches a file, such as a contact card, Google voice will say "file type not supported".

This last update removed the functionality of the play button to listen to messages. Please fix this - its kind of the whole point of voicemail.

I have been using Google Voice for last 4 years. It is a great productivity tool.

I was an early adopter of GV. I loved that I could have a phone number that I could use on any cellphone that I owned. And its great to not have to change phone numbers. Now that I can send and receive photos its even better. I will change this to 5 stars once they allow MMS/video.

Just want to thank you for this update. In the previous version, the lag was horrible that I was forced to text via the web version. But this 2.6 version has minimized the lag so much. Thank you for that! If you can make the performance like the iOS built-in Phone app that would be even better.
