You have to switch to Google Hangouts to send GIFs through Gboard. Really disgraceful. Hangouts has horrible interface with Contacts.

Constant crashing makes GV almost unusable. From the number of posts with crashing problems, it is evident that a fix is due pronto. Multiple attempts to send feedback through the app have failed because it crashed before one or two words could be entered. Please fix or return to the original. Thanks

As always Google doing frustrating Apps for IPhone lots of Crashes and lack of new functions

Best way to text an Android phone for free from iPhone. Also great out of the USA

Hey, Google! HELLO! I am deeply committed to Voice; have been using it since shortly after it launched in 2009. Got an iPad Pro 12.9 (iOS 11.2.2) a few months ago; my first Apple device. For a while Voice worked great but now I can’t complete a three-or four-word SMS message without the app crashing. I sure hope you can remedy this annoying problem!

Google Voice is great. I run a small pet services business and I use GV as my business line. It’s worked great for me thus far. I can text, take calls, and forward calls to my personal cell, which is awesome. The only thing I wish is that when using text GV would allow video. Currently only pictures are allowed.

I can’t even get a full text sent before it crashes ?

My text was dropped back I was texting many numbers try to send again since yesterday

I like the app but it keep crashing on me during texting. Urgg!

App crashes after about 30sec. This new version does not fix this issue. As of Jan 16, 2018 no update to the app to address the crashing. Hope this is a sign theres a bigger update.coming soon.

I’ve had Google Voice for about six years and just the last few months it all the sudden put all my calls directly to voicemail. I have went through Settings and looked online for assistance and have you been able to fix it. Very frustrating

I use this app for my business and it crashes constantly. I can’t listen to my VMs or send texts without it crashing. Very frustrating!

The legacy google voice is much more preferable to me, tasks were easier and swifter to complete such as bulk delete and being able to see who called the secondary number instead of the google voice number, etc. ; although this version is adequate for my current needs. Interface is ‘modern’ but that is about it. Still needs an update to support iPhone X.

I have to tap 1 to get my incoming calls? Unsure why. Just started.

This is by far the WORST update of ANY app Ive ever seen!! You took a great app with wonderful functionality and RUINED it COMPLETELY!! It crashes CONSTANTLY, IT LAGS and is UNRESPONSIVE most of the time! It does not delete/archive calls & messages half the time either! You took away the ability to have a list of FAVORITES ...WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU DO THAT?!? THIS VERSION is clunky, NOT USE FRIENDLY, and more convoluted than ever before!! If it werent for the fact that I have a Google Voice number that I use exclusively, I would delete this crap and not use it whatsoever!!! GOOGLE: YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIX THIS & DO BETTER THAN THIS!! PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL VERSION BECAUSE THIS ONE IS HORRIBLE!!! If I could give this app NO STARS, I certainly would!!!

The apps keeps crashing and I’ve noticed that it doesn’t notify me of some calls.

Last few versions crash at an infuriating and maddening rate. Makes blood boil. Notice other google apps are updated regularly, why not this one too?

It was working well, now it won’t open. iPhone X.

You got rid of many of the features that I came to appreciate about Google Voice. Now I have to go back to Legacy every time I want to do something that is useful for me. Please consider adding back the features you took away.
