I use Google voice as my primary phone number and this app crashes on me constantly. Has become super painful

It appears to me that ever since iOS 11 this app crashes within seconds every time I open it. A previous review is correct in stating that it is almost impossible to even send a text message before the app will crash. I also use this as a secondary line for my line of work and depend heavily on the functionality of this app being on point. Google please fix whatever’s going on with this app.

Come on google. It really shouldn’t be that big of a deal to add support for the X. Other wise, I like the app and use it daily.

The app has evolved well. I like the features and functionality. However, it crashes non stop. Its very annoying and has had me looking for alternatives. Please stop working on new features and make the app stable.

There is a space in front of the number 2 on the dial pad and it just makes the dial pad look weird and adds spaces when typing out a number to call. Will leave my real review in a little.

This service used to be an incredibly powerful tool for business... yet has progressively ceased its usefulness. Perhaps we should blame Tech Wars? At one time there were many options to pair a Google voice number w 3rd party apps. Ill call this the golden era bc ever since Google cut all 3p options and forced us to use their own app... the utility has been on tilt. Its slow, and it crashes frequently. My easiest obvious assumption was the same as Apple iOs screwing us w Apple Maps crapp vs the superior functionality of Google Mapps app. Perhaps Apple was hamstringing Google Voice? Well a free app w a free alternate phone number was worth a few annoyances... so long as calls & texts went thru. Now even this has ceased to function. Since I use Google Voice almost exclusively for business (local ph#!) I can NOT afford to miss texts, picture messages and phone calls. I can NOT afford to use this free POS because it is now costing me more than $1.99 app price or $3.99/mo telephony line. Granted, the big-G big-Data can scrape all my info that might be worth more, but alas NOT without merit. Ah The price of free...

Please fix! This was the most amazing app now I cant do anything with it. I can maybe write 5-7 words and send before it crashes.

I’m a small business owner and G Suite subscriber and I would like to have Google Voice as a reliable part of my business services. Alas, it is the weak link. If it is unreliable then I can’t use it. Crashes randomly. Is this that hard to fix? Even the UI is stale. Come on Google. You can do better.

Google voice has fixed a bunch issues. Heres another usability issue: on the main menu where messages are displayed, I have to click on the message to go into it and then I can delete it. Why cant you make a swipe left delete function?

Using a iPhone 6 with the latest update. I use Number and text for business. Every since update, app crashed after a 30 to 40 seconds of use. Please google, developer, fix this issue. Also, I’ve done the erase app and resetting phone over 4 times. Still crashes!!!! Help!!!!! Awesome app when not crashing :(

On new updates or new iPhone X, the app crashes after typing a few words in text. I’ve used G Voice for business for over a year and absolutely cannot have it crashing, it’s costing me sales.

App crashes every single time after a few seconds. You lose everything you just typed to text. The app was perfect until recently. Please fix the bugs ASAP!!!

Google voice is extremely easy to use and gives you a second phone number that you can use for personal or business

This is my only app that constantly crashes. Using iOS 11.2 on an 8+. With all the resources Google has, you would think they could get this right. T-Mobile’s Digits app is very similar in function and features, and works fine.

This app has gone thru so many updates til it’s no longer problem or error free. It used to be a really good app but now just down right tacky? It should be renamed Google Crash because that’s all you get these days. So google help yourself out and fix this app or get rid of it . Seems these days nobody understands that if something is not broken don’t try and fix it . Nothing was wrong with google voice until these killer mode updates now we have google crash??????

I could have it open for only a minute, and it just crashes for no reason.

Unusable since it crashes constantly. If Google is making a point about android vs iOS you’ve done it, thanks now go fix it
