Shutting down after writing a short text message. Can you plz fix this?! Adam

The app keeps closing! Please fix!

I’ve used this app for years and I loved it. Among other things you can text via internet with no cell reception. But about a week ago, m phone became totally unresponsive and kept getting worse. Finally I looked at battery usage and, despite not using the app, Google Voice was using 43% of my battery just churning in the background. I uninstalled the app, rebooted my phone twice and zoom! Was back to it’s old quick self. Hoping it was a bad install of a good app, a day later, I reinstalled it. Even though I never even signed into my account, a day later my phone was sluggish and unresponsive. I once again uninstalled and rebooted and zoom. My phone is bright and peppy again. Conclusion: do NOT upgrade to Google Voice until version 2.2 comes out. This, by the way, is on an iPhone 5s

Recently started my own business and needed a phone number with a local area code. Google voice was perfect for this need and saved me from having to get a second cell phone with its own number. Now I can have my work and personal number on a single phone, which is much easier than carrying around 2 devices. So far havent experienced any crashes and no dropped calls. The only downside that I have come across though is that you cannot add contacts directly through the Google voice app like you can through the regular phone app on the iPhone. This means that if I want to add a contact of someone who called me through GV, I have to copy and paste the number using the regular contacts App on the phone. Not a huge deal, but adds a few extra steps and makes it less convenient than it should be. This seems like an easy fix for Google, and would be a much appreciated extra feature.

I have used Google Voice for years and mostly on the app on my phone. Until recently it has worked great but now during texting it is shutting down very quickly (10-15 seconds). I literally have a race to put my text in before it shuts down and have to start over. Very frustrating. Happened approximately on version 2.8 but also 2.9 and 2.10 it continues. Currently running iOS version 11.1.2 and happened on iPhone 7 & current X. Not sure which iOS version caused the hangups but can’t deal with it any more. Please fix so I can change to 5 stars!

This app (or version) crashes all the time. It typically does so when I’m in the middle of writing a text message. Frustrating. Aside from that they took away the ability to mark as unread, which was great.

Google is cheap crap. Its free CRAP but its still CRAP

I use my Google Voice number as my "work mobile" number. The iOS app crashes way too frequently - especially during text messages. It also often does not respond to my touch when I try to tap "call ###-###-####" or try to play a message. Edit: these crashes are driving me crazy. One star. Fix this!

The features of the app are wonderful but it crashes constantly. In the middle of text messages the screen goes black and the app restarts and the message is gone. It is awful. Bad performance for a year! They never fix it.

I rely on Google Voice to run my business. My team often sends me a bunch of photos of properties we are renovating on the iPad it would be incredible to drag and drop photos from Google Voice into dropbox. Overall the app works well but is not optimized for iOS 11 and the iPhone X screen.

App keeps crashing

**edit** was fixed and then started doing the same thing after iOS 11.1.2 update App updated 3 days ago and now will force close in 1 minute of being open. Updated phone to IOS 11. Uninstall/reinstall Google voice. Still force closing. Attempted to contact developer to leave feedback but only goes to “how to use Google Voice” options.

Has become unstable with latest version of voice and latest version of iOS.

Been having issues sending pictures on and off on this app. Please fix this issue

PLEASE fix the app - keeps crashing every time with the 11/17/17 update. Hey your act together! Gets worse with every update they do!!!!! Still jacked and now it continuously crashes. Google, wheres your quality control? What did you do with your competent programmers? Did they all go over to apple? It wasnt broken before the update but is now. All useful functionality is gone! Back to the drawing board you tech developers!!!

This app keep crashing, i’m frustrated, not sure what to do, i use it daily now it useless, no support to reach, tried reinstalling many times, tried to find another paid app, google voice paid app i tried, that one did not work as well cannot login on it, it maybe not compatible , Google please help , thanks

I can’t seem to play voice messages on my iPhone X with iOS 11. I have have to go to my computer in order to listen to them. I can see the voicemail, and transcripts, it just will not play.

Crashes now on IOS11 :((. Hoping it gets fixed

Keeps crashing. Uninstalled reinstalled multiple time does it on all my iOS devices.
