I give this app a 1 star rating because it does not allow you to view videos or download them.

Idk what happen but after I updated app yesterday it hasn’t been working .. when making a call from GV, a different # pops up each time and then says “call failed” and call doesn’t go thru to my linked #

Good app, but it *really* needs a way of letting you know incoming calls are coming in to your google voice number as opposed to your regular number. Godaddy’s SmartLine app does this - it displays “via SmartLine” underneath the number on incoming calls, 5 stars if Google Voice can implement this!

Nothing to do with Google Voice...but yeah.

Occasionally freezes or shows double-messages on an older iPhone 5s but still an awesome free service, keeping me from running out of texts on my plan!

I needed an alternate number , great for that ... but for texts it doesn’t have a way to alert that you have a new message and you have to manually open up the app to text .... kinda annoying and some texts repeat !!!! Is ok .... FIX THE TEXTING PORTION & it’d be 5 stars

WTH? Tried and true, but, seriously? No workie.

Now with photo texts. All for just data. If I get a call and Im away from phone it rings my gmail on my computer also

I like to clean, archive and delete. Idk when it happened, but all my archived calls are on my app again. Archived as many as I could just now but I realized the old stuff just loads as soon as I archive the recent ones. Google Voice, I love you but someone just dumped you all out and I’d appreciate it if that someone would clean up their mess!

Hey Developer help me When i open the app, it is stuck on terms and conditions What should i do?

I love this app and use it all the time for work. But right now it crashes on me left and right. Literally in the middle of texting it crashes 3 or 4 times. I tried deleting and download again and same problem. Not sure what the deal in but it’s the only app that crashes. Loved it before it started crashing and will love it again if they can fix that.

I really want to love this app, I have to use it daily. However it seems that despite all their updating (finally) the app is still clunky and full of bugs. The app constantly cashes when Im coming back to it and it always hangs up when refreshing the conversations list. To top it all off there is NO option to turn off message preview meaning I cant get notifications if I want to be secure...unacceptable these days when everyone (including Google!) wants you to use things like two factor authentication. Awful. 8/30/17 - Latest update has seen the app speed improve dramatically. Increased stars to 3, but security is still a problem until they allow for message preview to be turned off. 11/1/17 - App no longer allows me to send pictures or text messages anymore. Completely useless.

Removing the favorites makes it a lot harder to operate and make quick calls. Also, it has been crashing a lot. I always send the crash reports. What is the status of the fix?

I’ve been using this app since July 2017 and my only real complaint is that I can’t send/receive videos. I’m a choreographer/instructor so it’s essential for me to be able to send/receive videos to the students so they can practice at home.

I love the voice features Ive bin using this for a few years now and I am impressed with all the features and stability

Keeps quitting when I use it. Drive me nuts. This is on iPhone 5s with iOS 11.03.

Deal-breakers: 1. Far too often a message I trusted to be sent says “not sent. Tap to retry.” But I only discover this later, and as you can imagine this causes problems for me. 2. The app crashes somewhat regularly. 3. The app takes FOREVER to begin responding every time you launch or switch to it. This makes it almost unusable. It is a ridiculous joke. It’s obviously synchronizing, but someone cane up with a horrible algorithm for it. 4. Messages *I* sent can show as unread items. How does this make any sense at all? When I use a messaging app, I expect to open it, tap on a contact, begin typing immediately, and successfully send a short message, all within about 5 seconds. This app does not offer that. You’re lucky if you get it done in 25-30 seconds, with all the waiting. It’s disgusting. Someone’s software design is a pile of offal.
