Can do many things with a second number.☮️?️??

To be perfect one-stop-shop telecom app, needs VoIP calling within app and multiple select/bulk operations.

The app all of a sudden keeps asking me to link my number and I keep missing notifications. Also, it would be nice if you opened a notification and the badge icon removed. I have to open a message twice to get rid of the "new message" badge.

This newer app is extremely slow. Its quite frustrating. I dont like that calls arent separated by type like missed or dialed. The app randomly signs me out and when I sign in, I have reset my settings so that I get my texts. I like being able to send photos, but the app is so slow that I barely use it.

Only using because Google is being Google and killing another useful product (Hangouts). App often takes me to a random point in chat history rather than most recent. Also sometimes cant get keyboard to show up without leaving chat. Messages often stay read after Ive viewed them, sometimes requiring leaving and coming back to chat multiple times to clear. I wish I could still just use Hangouts, but I just want my communication all in one spot and to work.

This is perhaps my most used app. Why cant I set a default phone like I can in web app? Why cant I set a default phone like I can when using the web-based app? ... call with Hangouts. Makes hard to use iPad as a phone! :-( See this note on the google play store app, re. Talkatone. Is this going to impact this Google Voice app too? Im WORRIED. The update allowing to delete messages was great but the app seems to still have a couple of bugs. 1) Whenever I have the app open with an active message sometimes I need to close the app and open it again in order for the new text received to be displayed. 2) After I respond to the new text received the badge on the app icon shows that I have a new message when I already responded (no other messages were there). When I go into the app and out again (not closing it completely) the badge updates to show no new messages. Please fix its very annoying.

Notifications really are badly handled in this app. When you receive a notification you are dropped into the notification but the badge and the app doesnt handle this action, to dismiss the badge you must exit the message and drill down into it a second time. Notifications syncing is worse than any other app Ive used. Making calls with GoogleVoice requires you to link your phone number. Then the app forgets that you linked your number!! SiriKit integration missing, so you cant say Siri send a google voice message to contact. Oops! This could have really given the app much wanted integration. GoogleVoice works well but I miss the favorites / quick calls menu already and you cant ask Siri to use google voice to dial a contact :( so much potential!

Poor design! Seems this app is dead

The main purpose of this app is to make and receive voice calls but the update replaced unique voice features with texting features. I have no cell phone service in my studio and I work from home a lot so I was using the now non-existent click to call feature to call out from my landline. This app is useless to me without the click to call feature so Ill looking for another app unless you bring it back!

Google! Seriously! 3 taps just to make 1 phone call. You have to fix this! App is slow in general and design is poor. It gets the job done but was better before. That is sad when you think updates = better app.

I aleays liked Google Voice but the new version doesnt seem to have a "mark as unread" function. New update and still no mark as unread. Please fix this. Until then take your zero star rating.

I use GV for work and it gives me the piece of mind to protect my original # and my sanitary.

I seriously love GV and havent went without it for years. The new GV has some perks like pictures, emoticons, and being able to see your entire past conversation history but Ill be more than happy to give that all up for the legacy GV. I dont need to see an entire history of conversation from years ago. I dont care for pictures on the app as theyre forwarded to email where I can see them anyway. I really hate having to re-link my number. I miss the different lists of missed/received/recorded/placed calls. Please combine the features or better yet, just put Legacy Google Voice as a standalone app.

Worst application ever . Entry level companies are so far working better than this google voice dont go for this waste of money. It shows different number when you dial to different number. ?Google

Ive used google voice in the past. Im trying to load a new account and it wont even load my newly assigned number! Cant even use it!

Since the last update I have to link my number almost every time I make a call. Pretty much has rendered the app and number useless. Please fix. Only seems to be a problem with IOS. Havent seen anyone complain about the issue online when using Andriod. Could this be intentional? Bad Google.

Update: please PLEASE FIX IT!!! This is worse than an upgrade, its a downgrade? How can you achieve such a feat of backwardness? Seriously do any of your developers have to use this any part of the day? Fire the quality control person SERIOUSLY! Ive use google since before google bought it, when it was Grand central, so Ive been using this app since they made it. Every update has gotten progressively worse & less user friendly. It took 10 years to add ability to send & receive pics. If I didnt know any better Id say they forcing people to not use it anymore. Prove me wrong by fixing this garbage of an app. Whoever is developing this app obviously isnt using it on a regular basis, if at all. Who thinks its common sense to get rid of direct dial?
