Google Voice App Reviews

I am a user for 10 years now. I hope that there is a google PM that pays attention to reviews and can work on the constant crashes that started happening on iOS 11. Would be 4 stars back once it works again.

I have 6S, I updated 2 times but still keeps crashing in text!!! Please fix it asap. Thx

I have been using this so that I can a separate business number without having to carry too phones. Worked nicely until the latest iPhone os update. Now crashes every time I try to text. If it doesnt get fixed soon Ill have to move to a different app. Ugh!

The app makes nearly impossible to write sms or make a phone call, because it crashes all the time.

Good, except for group messages

The app crashing during text message and message is lost. I have to use dictation for longer message and hope it is ok because if I read to long it will be lost.

This app use to be awesome now it will send a text and move it above some that have already been sent. It’s not a good look at all I expected more from “Google”

I thought it was my Iphone 6 that was not being able to keep up with the new update. I went and bought the IPhone 8. It still doesn’t work!!! Oh man, this hurts!!!!

Great utility across devices. v2.8.170371933 on my iOS iPhone & iPad v10.3.3 crash when trying to text - seems like it crashes in about a minute for the past month. So if I am typing a text and thinking about it, I keep having to "select all" and "copy" so that I can go back into the app after it crashes, "paste" and continue where I left off. I ported from Verizon because their app was unreliable. Now where do I go? I have reported the issue through the app - or maybe that's not so wise!

We have loved Google Voice for years, and especially loved the update to be able to send photos. For the past few weeks, pictures haven’t been sending properly. Hope this gets fixed soon!

Messages that I have read dont Mark as read – sometimes I need to open and close the app and click on the message a few times before it marks it as red. This is annoying. Also for some reason the app has been sending duplicate texts, which is also annoying.

This app used to be good but recently I cannot type more than 5 seconds and the app crashes and shuts down. Restart the app and it’s fine but that’s not the way it should work. Fix this and I’d rate higher.

Can’t believe terrible bugs recently. Can’t text a whole sentence. It’s automatically shut down. Every time before text, have to write on notes, then copy to google voice, then text out !!!

Please add support for the Siri API. Ive waited years to be able to say, "Hey Siri, call ______ with Google Voice." As a full time tech consultant @nerdslimited , google voice is the only way to keep one number as cell phones, office phones, and home phones change. It would be a deal at twice the price, at $0 it is the greatest app since apps were born! While iOS voip integration like Skype may not be possible since the dealer is routing through POTS lines, it would be amazing!

I have the latest version 2.8 and the app keeps crashing. Its very frustrating. I’ll be halfway through typing my text and it will crash and of course doesn’t save anything I’ve written.

Google voice has always required a lot of frustrating patience to use, but this version crashes constantly! It is hardly usable at all! Awful. In the middle of trying to type a text it crashes. Every single time!

This app crashes every time I try to send a text from my phone. It didn’t used to do that, not sure what’s changed but all of a sudden it’s ridiculous. I’ve deleted and installed it again and still the same nonsense
