I move around a lot. Google Voice allows for me to change phone numbers when I need to without having to change my permanent number. Looks good on resumés to have a local phone number for call backs...

Worked great at first. Now its crashing over and over again. Cant send more than 100 characters without it going down. Cant listen to voicemails the whole way through. Super irritating... fix your bugs guys

Crashes since updating to iOS11

Worst app ever on my iPhone! It was amazing but than it keeps shutting off every time I go and text someone! It works perfect on my iPad! Needs update pronto!!! Shaking my head. Major let down.

Works as specified but still has problems with displaying messages not in order and syncing on multiple devices. Also still doesnt handle out of memory errors on MMS texts well - dies horribly

This app crashes literally every 15 seconds. Please use the crash reports sent multiple times a day to prevent this app from crashing so much. Thanks!

Keeps crashing and deleting everything typed right before I press send.

The app Crashes after being open for about 30 seconds EVERY SINGLE TIME! And it also makes my iPhone get HOT when using the app!!!

Every time I try to set up my account I scroll through the terms and privacy then go to press accept, a loading symbol pops up for about half a second then disappears. Then when I click accept again no loading or anything. Want to try the app but cant even get in

When from great app to making want to port my number and leave google voice.

I am experiencing a new problem with this update. While using the app, either composing an email/text or searching my contacts, the app will suddenly close. All of my unsaved work is gone and I have to start all over again. The app is unusable for sending texts or emails longer than one or two sentences.

Ive used this app for years. Im in sales and it helps me organize communication by client. Additionally, my voicemail is NEVER full. Recently, the app crashes 50% of the time Im using it. Its frustrating to type a text and have the app crash

Ive had google voice since back in the day when you needed an invite to get a Gmail address. Never had an issue. Until now, with IOS 11 on my new iPhone 8. The app constantly crashes in the middle of texting or listening to voicemails. Pretty much unusable. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I’m running a “new iPhone” in iOS on this new phone and installed all apps piecemeal instead of restoring from an old phone. So the google voice app is totally fresh on this phone. I use this for work so its extremely important to me. Google, please fix this.

Don’t use this anymore. It crashes constantly since the iphone 8 and iOS 11. Not sure Google is still updating the software. Something is wrong. It used to be great. Will change my rating if they fix it.

It’s terrible Start or when responding totext and it blacks out! Now even happens when making a call This update didn’t remedy a thing! Please advise google

This app has been great for my work number, but ever since the last update, it crashes each time I try to type out a text. Please fix! Its becoming very frustrating!

It is not a free alternative to having cellular, instead it is a free add on to let you take calls and make call over wifi you will still need a number to do so though
