You can’t text any more since it keeps crashing. Used to work, not any more

What happened!? Its crashing on EVERY iOS device! Please fix this!!

Latest version crashes when typing simple message and does not allow sending pics on iOS 11 Fix me

As other reviewers noted, the latest version installed in early October 2017 crashes constantly, especially when trying to write a text. Google needs to address this critical stability flaw ASAP.

The features of the app are wonderful but it crashes constantly. In the middle of text messages the screen goes black and the app restarts and the message is gone. It is awful. Think about finding something else.

Fix this, just keep crashing last few weeks

Ive had google voice since back in the day when you needed an invite to get a Gmail address. Never had an issue. Until now, with IOS 11 on my new iPhone 8. The app constantly crashes in the middle of texting or listening to voicemails. Pretty much unusable. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I’m running a “new iPhone” in iOS on this new phone and installed all apps piecemeal instead of restoring from an old phone. So the google voice app is totally fresh on this phone. I use this for work so its extremely important to me. Google, please fix this ASAP.

For the last two weeks, it has been crashing constantly. Incredibly annoying to type out a text message, only to have it crashed and disappear. I use Google Voice for everything. Almost no one has my real phone number, so when it doesnt work, its serious PITA.

Love gv, I live in it all day and have used it since before google bought it years ago, but since iOS 11 it crashes hourly or more. Very sad. Help!

The new Google Voice app definitely looks a lot better than the old one. The colors are brighter and, unlike before, MMS messages show up in the app. Also, texts are threaded, so when somebody texts you a day or two later, it shows up with the rest of their text messages, instead of starting a brand-new thread. Great job on the improvements! However, now theres no way to delete messages. Sure, there are instructions to delete messages and it supposed to work, but it doesnt. Please fix this – we need to be able to delete messages! update 9/26/17 - the new version of google voice crashes repeatedly - unable to send messages! update 10/12/17 - still crashing repeatedly - during almost every text i try to send

I am a Google fan except for the new version of Google Voice. I was able to switch back to the old version on my desk top computer but my iPhone 7 crashes before I can read or send a text message or listen to my messages. I have deleted it and reinstalled it several times and it still crashes!!! Please fix this!

I love this app, but it is crashing often on my iphone. Any fix coming? Also, my voice mail will not play over Bluetooth, as it did on Android.

I have the latest version 2.8 and the app keeps crashing. Its also very slow to load and refresh

After updating to iOS 11 on iPhone 6, the app crashes after each text response. Still no response from Google.....

I’ve used google voice and the app extensively for nearly 10 years now and have never really Complained at all about any version. But ever since the iOS 11 release, it has been crashing whenever I’ve written a substantial text (and of course whatever I had typed is gone pecan). Not at a specific length of time in the composition box, not at a specific character count, not at the press of a particular key. It’s resulted in so many blood pressure spikes and a ton of wasted time and aggravation. But while I’m complaining, I don’t like the texts and voicemails and calls all separated. I like all the correspondence to be together

I’ve used GV since at least 2012 and since this latest update to iOS 11 you can no longer write a simple text without the app crashing. To avoid a mental breakdown I now compose all of my texts in notepad and paste them into the app so I can send them without losing everything I’ve written in a text. This is terribly frustrating!!!!!

I’ve been using GV for years, but having just installed on an iPhone I find it a mess. I dial one number on the keypad and it shows that it wants to call a different number.

Im on iPhone 6. iOS 11.0.2. Constant crashes while using the app. None other apps have the issue. Not sure why. And its very slow on loading info. Why does google make this product so lame?!?!
