Google Voice App Reviews

I think something in the app may have prevented the Google Voice from forwarding phone calls. Since I upgraded today, I no longer receive phone calls forwarded to my phone. Please fix and I’ll numb review up to 5 stars.

Ported my number to Google voice years ago and it allows me to use my number of multiple devices!

I have been using google voice for a couple of years. It wasnt perfect but it got the job done (4 stars worth). Since the iOS 11 update I can only get about 30 seconds of on-screen time before the app crashes. Google please fix bug!

It had been acting up on iPhone 6. Was too slow to load contact list and recent call history. With the recent update (October 2017) and new device (iPhone 8 plus) its working perfectly. Have been using it since 2013 and i use it for calls, voicemails, texts, call recordings, voicemail transcription, international calls. Its so much for free. Couldn’t ask for more. Love it

This was a primary app until iOS11. Now the app crashes when it’s been opened for 30seconds. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, reset the phone and updated the app to the latest version. No resolution.

In years past it seemed Google Voice struggled and had many delays and glitches, but improvements have been made and is a bit more streamline. I would like to see the ability to store contacts within the app without accessing my personal contacts, as a way of identifying calls.

Im updating my previous negative review to a positive 5 stars. Defects have been corrected and it is easier and more reliable to use. I especially like the ability to easily and permanently delete conversation and call history. Thank you Google !! Totally non functional for texts. Used the prior version all the time now there is no way to send a txt because the ">" that used to be there to send is missing. Also, after you enter the destination number you cannot get back to the message without starting over. This is a total train wreck. (Using iPhone 6s with latest iOS update).

Still have issues crashing reviewing text and voicemails

Ive been using this for some years, great app and became more awesome when pictures were in a boat for text messages, no complaints and very happy

This app is great, when it’s not crashing after 5 minutes. Might be because I’m on iOS 11 because I never had this issue before. Erased and re downloaded and same issue. Hopefully patch coming soon

Driving me nuts! Never had an issue until the iOS update. Please fix it!

It used to work fine, but several recent updates led this app unusable. It crashes every time in the middle of my typing a message. What did you do folks at Google?

After update app crashes on both my iPad and iPhone. It doesn’t matter where or what is going on. App crashes/closes automatically after about 45 seconds.

User friendly. Great if you have a start up business and dont want to tie you personal phone.

Easy to use and very practical

SMS messages don’t always show up when the app is in the background, dial pad cannot be used as quickly as a native dialed or else the experience gives unexpected outcomes.

Love it had it for years

Ive had this app for several years using Android, it never crashed. It crashes several times a day with IOS. There seems to be no way to sync my hundreds of contacts in voice it gmail with the IOS contacts. Otherwise, I still love Google Voice, just find it frustrating with my iPhone
