I dont understand why would someone remove features from the app instead of adding new!!! Why has the fast dial/favorites disappeared? Totally disappointed. Only way to fast dial is to use Calls Tab. And the calls tab takes forever to refresh. Most of the times I end up clicking some other persons number. I can bet I can design/code a better app that you guys at Google!!!

Still worst UI. Too many clicks even for redial. UI needs a major redesign.

Interface is very slow. Takes around 5 seconds after opening the app till clicking on the number to place the call.

I have to force-quit the app on a regular basis now.

Another update, another failure to make compatible with insertion of Gboard GIFs. Months for an update but nothing noticeable. Still wont paste GIFs or pics from Gboard into a text. That was my issue, which reported. Youd think a Google products compatibility with its own keyboard would be a priority, but it isnt. Dev team is AWOL. Still wont copy and paste GIFs. Google Hangouts interfaces horribly with Contacts, but can work with Gboard and paste pics and GIFS, which Google Voice cant. Google Voice can interface terrifically with Contacts, but has the shortcomings listed below. The Valentines Day 2017 update fixed no noticeable problems since the major overhaul of Jan 2017. Fail. Google Voices inability to paste GIFS, and Google Hangouts superior integration with Gmail, led me to switch back to Google Hangouts. Hoping Google Voice will become fully functional.

Still one of the worst UI updates I have ever seen. You have to wait for calls tab to reorder itself every time you open the app. The quick dial feature is gone and now you have to search through the calls tab to find a number you dial frequently. Whoever authorised this update at Google should be fired.

Google voice is a great service, the app works great and everything is pretty straight forward. The only issue Im having is that when I go to my texts Im not always at the bottom so I need to scroll to see the most recent text (iOS 10.3.2) but its a minor bug for an app that has come a long way.

App wont load message received. Reinstalling app doesnt fix this. Introduce Siri integration and maybe actually test out your app update before releasing it.

Three taps to start a call from call history? Bad! 1 tap to expand the contact. 1 tap on phone number and another tap on call button. where is the quick dial or my favorites. It is important. Caching conversation so I can view them offline.

...are unjustified in my opinion. I needed a second number for my small business and got one for no charge. It came with unlimited domestic calls and messaging—now much easier to manage!—and voicemail transcriptions that forward to my email account. And thats just part of the experience. Did you know that you can schedule hours during which your business/alternative number sends calls directly to voicemail as opposed to ringing? You sure can. Only want business calls from 0900 to 1700 during weekdays? Done. Google Voice is an exceptional service that has become a vital component of my business. I love the iOS app, which has benefitted greatly from the 2017 updates, and hope that Google Voice is here for the long haul. (iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 10.x)

This current releases very buggy. There are delays in the UI, the app will just freeze, and it is just very slow overall. Google, please resolve these issues or release a paid user version.

Super Slow and worst now: HOW SLOW? It takes exactly one minute for the search box to be ready to take any word to search, then it takes exactly another minute for the results to appear, then it freezes and then it takes another minute for it to loosen up and let you scroll up the results. Im using you app on iPhone 5, but all my friends are experiencing the same in the iPhone 6 and 7, what is wrong with Google. UNISTALL IT OR: Stay away from it or dont get the January update. Version 2.3 was the LAST BEST, after it the next updates destroyed google voice. Google dont listen, this is The most Mediocre programming Ive ever seen: The Search box freezes/crashes everywhere. All functions are SLOW!!! and Original features folders ARE NOW GONE! See, NOT MORE: 1.Recorded calls folder 2.Placed calls folder 3. Received calls folder 4.Missed calls folder 5.Unread calls folder 6.Spam calls/text folder 7.Trash folder 8.Starred folder 9.Inbox folder 10.Voicemail folder! Google have destroyed this nice app and turn it into the horrible hangouts which is as slow as this one is now and lacking all of the above features, GOOGLE HAS INSULTED IS USERS WITH THIS fake UPDATE, it just destroyed Google Voice and gave you nasty-mediocre hangouts disguised now as the new Google Voice! F**u Google for ignoring us! Mediocre programming and programmers! Will Uninstalled it today.

Also, its shows there is a message but when opening an app, nothing.

improve the following: •constant need to refresh every tab •slow response to interactions with anything and everything in the app.

This app is garbage. There was a time when this app worked great. I miss those days. With each update Im hopeful they will fix whatever bugs they introduced. But it only keeps getting worse. If my business number wasnt tied to this, I would have moved on long ago. I expect more from a google product. Granted, its free. Thanks, but I would gladly pay for a Google voice app that actually worked.

Before the recent update the app was great. But now I will be notify when a new message is there but when click on the app to check its nothing there. I have click on the each person name to even see who wrote. Need to be fix asap

Now it takes too long for a new message to appear. And its annoying that the app treats my reply as a new message. Fix that too. You lucky I need this separate number or I would get rid of this app too fast.

This app got a few notches worse since the last update. Somehow they can fly people to the moon but cant make an app work. Why on earth would you take away the option to star messages. I have lost many messages and much business because of this inconvenience. It also sometimes wont play a voice message, as mentioned in some of the other reviews. And the app takes a good amount of time to open/refresh so you get to sit in anticipation for 10–20 seconds before you see your text or voicemail. Then when you read the message, it never marks it as read. Ive had to go back-and-forth and thumb down about 10–12 times and wait up to 45 seconds for the message to finally go to unread. Very annoying!
